Yes. A level site is not required to install a pool. Some of our most attractive installations are on uneven terrain. Uneven yards lend themselves to more landscaping designs.

Yes. Ten years ago, we very seldom installed a non-diving pool. Now, non-diving pools account for 60% of our business. Sportsman pools designed for water volleyball, basketball, water polo, etc., are becoming increasingly more popular every year. Pleasure Pools can also design a custom, multiple-depth pool specifically to meet your particular needs and your family members' heights.

We recommend a 16-foot-wide by 32-foot-long pool for maximum safety, although a 15-foot-wide by 31-foot-long pool will meet the minimum safety codes. The depth of any diving pool must be at least 8 feet deep in the diving area.

Yes. Most local and state laws require a fence. Your insurance company may also require a fence. Local codes dictate the fence requirements. Self-latching gates are usually one of those requirements as well. (Some states do not require a fence if you have an approved automatic pool cover.)

In Tennessee, starting on January 1, 2011, every new pool must have an approved safety alarm installed.

Rates from public water supplies vary. A typical cost is $8.00 per 1000 gallons. A 20,000-gallon pool will hold $160.00 worth of water with no sewage appropriation.

It often takes approximately two days to fill a 20,000 to 25,000 gallon pool with a garden hose. Some customers have used their neighbors' (with permission) water supply as well.
